Dial is very small. Pictures make it look much bigger than it is.Doesn't affect the product in any way. I just prefer the dials bigger.

Product title says its 176 lb holding, but the description says 70 LB holding power for the mag base. Because its so small I'd say 70 is the correct figure. Its still very strong and perfectly adequate for a DTI. The mag base bottom is decently flat - a problem with cheaper bases. The included DTI is a mitutoyo - very smooth arm action and face/dial rotation. Good quality little kit. Recommended.

I'd expect a "precision" measuring device to be packed with some level of care. Not here, just shoved in a box with the magnetic base. Must not have fit so the box was forced closed and secured with clear tape.In all fairness, the magnetic base is as expected. That said, it's a "package deal" and the overall package was a disappointment. For the price, I expect more. Even the cheap calipers I own came in a protective case. Step it up Noga!At the moment my confidence in this product is low. I've yet to decide if I'll have it replaced with the same, or return it completely and order a different product. At this price point, I'm leaning toward a different product.

It's metric. .01 'millimeter graduation. At first I wasn’t crazy about this dual. But for sweeping in a drill there is not a better dial out there. There is not one ounce of chatter coming from the drills I sweep!
