I have been playing in a touring band for 7 years and I have had these cases for the past 5. They do the job and I have never regretted going with these rather than the ridiculously expensive "name brand" hard cases (don't even bother with soft cases). The only reason I had to buy this replacement is because I lost one. They are made of a water RESISTANT plastic-cardboard-like material that is surprisingly durable (playing every week I have certainly put these cases to the test). Glue a little thin foam padding inside--and your good to go for 5 years...and counting.
