They are plastic or rubber, not metal. They obviously have iron or steel particles so magnets stick to them, but they ARE NOT METAL SHEETS!

The magnets are able to be easily cut into smaller lengths and taped wherever you want, but when removed it leaves a ton of sticky residue that is hard to scrub off. When I was attaching other magnets on the strip and seeing how much it can hold it really can't hold much when attached to a wall; it can only hold around 50 grams worth of weight before the magnetic item starts to sag and fall off. For the price I would not recommend this product due to the hassle of removal and weak magnet strength

These sheets are not as magnetic receptive as the listing advertises. You would need to use many magnets or a powerful magnet to have a solid and strong magnetic connection if you're planning to mount something heavy.Smaller magnets will connect with the sheets but a shake of the shelf or table or whatever mounting surface you placed it on and whatever was being held by small magnets will fall or move.I was hoping for something more metallic or steel-like instead of rubber or silicone. Not impressed to say the least.

This tape is metal and functionally attracts magnets. It has an adhesive backing which appears to be holding well, in my application. I used it to line the edges of a painted, luan wood access panel., in my camper. Then, I attached magnets to the base where the access panel covers the access space. The panel used to require 2 screws to hold it in place. I added a handle pull to the panel piece, too. Now, I can just pull on the access panel and it comes right off, no tools required.

This appears to be demagnetized magnetic flexible sheets cut into strips. Not what I was looking for.

Ordered these to be put up on the shelf in our children’s play room in our new house to keep their Tonie characters all in one place. Can’t wait to see how it looks when we move in next month!
