This high-quality aluminum enclosure was custom-made for the Ham It Up Plus Barebones. A better option than unshielded cases, most certainly, and fairly priced as well.
Your order will include everything required to mount the upconverter--enclosure body, end panels, and all hardware. Labeling is laser-etched.
NOTE: Ham It Up Plus upconverter sold separately.

This is a very well made, great enclosure, but buyer beware, THIS WILL NOT FIT THE HAM IT UP BAREBONES V1.3 this is ONLY for the Ham-it-up Plus. If you live in Canada and want to buy the enclosure for the v1.3, you will have to pay for shipping and import fees (you will have to buy it privately through the Nooelec Amazon store). Otherwise, you will be stuck in the same position as you can see above, that the enclosure will not fit your device.

This case is trash. The end pieces simply do not line up, nor do the screw holes.It is obviously the correct case, but it is entirely the wrong size.Useless.

Board fits ok. Case holes are well positioned and no adjustments were necessary BUT there is a little problem with the 2 Hex Tapped Brass Stand-Off Pillars, the Male-Female ones: the threaded male part is too long and when screwed in the female-female pillars, it takes almost all of the threads in them, living no threads available for the black screws(2)that fix the board to the case. I have to add a couple of washers between the board and the Male-Female pillars in order to solve this problem. I checked with a "factory cased" unit and the spacers are the right length. Although its a minor issue, it prevents me from giving 5 stars to this product.

I purchased this box to enclose my early model NooElec up convertor card. I apparently had a very early version and RF in and IF out did not line up. I had to modify end plates to make it work. Bad on me for not checking version of card.
