This diverter valve combo works fine so far and doesn't leak. It's made out of plastic, however, so I'm not sure about its longevity. It comes with a nice suction cup attachment if you don't want to mount it permanently. Having a handheld shower makes cleaning the shower a breeze.

I don’t want a handheld hose in my shower most of the time, but when I was recovering from a foot injury and needed to shower sitting down, I found I really needed one. Practically, it’s also great other have when it’s time to clean the shower. I installed the diverter vale with the included plumbing tape, and twisted my existing shower head back on. Then I attached the hose and this handheld shower head. Works great, everything is snug and leak free. What’s also great about the diverter valve is when I don’t want the hose set up in our shower, it is easily unscrewed and removed to be stored in the bathroom cabinet. I can leave the diverter valve attached and toggled off. No leaks even with no hose, and it’s very easy to reattach and toggle to the hose when I need it.

This shower head does work well, but I was a bit disappointed in the quality. All pieces except for the diverter are lower-quality plastic parts. That did not make me feel comfortable enough and decided to hold onto it as a spare shower head instead, if ever needed.

Got this for my parent's bathroom since they were hoping to add a handheld to their existing shower head. This was easy to install (we did need a wrench to remove the existing shower head). Instructions were easy to follow and we added additional teflon tape to the diverter since there was still a small leak. The issue is the suction holder, which was the main draw of this product. It did not work on the shower tiles we had because it's not completely smooth. It had just a touch of texture, and that was enough that the shower head did not hold. It would stay up for about 30 mins, and then we'd all hear a crash. Finally we just had to suction it on the sliding glass shower door, which meant that door could not longer be used.
