Changing the part out was a little difficult but the replacement worked great and did exactly what I needed it to do.

Had a power surge at a campground and it burned out lots of little pieces and parts. Dealership wanted far too much money for 1 hour of work. Was able to change this out easily and without fuss. Frig now works when we have shore power.

I installed this in N8X Norcold refrigerator in 2018 Crossroads Sunset Trail travel trailer. Fast shipping. Upon arrival It measured 44 ohms and is drawing 2.1 amps at 119 volts. Apparently there's text stamped into the metal of the new element. I didn't know that so can't tell you what it said. The old heater is stamped 300 watt. According to the math the new heater is producing 249 watt . It's cooling, only been running about 2 hours, time will tell if 249 watts is sufficient..Pretty easy install. UNPLUG the frig from 110 volts outside before you start! Lot's of youtube videos on replacing RV refrigerator AC heating element. Inside had to remove the doors (3 screws) plus some trim at the top (2 screws) then 4 screws that held the frig in the cabinet. Outside, 2 screws and disconnect the gas line. Slide the refrig forward in the cabinet about 5 inches to gain access to the heating element. Pull out the old heater and install the new. Took about one hour for the entire process. (didn't have to completely remove it from the cabinet). Watch some youtube videos.
