Easy to install. OEM. Had to replace ours due to short cycling.

The four stars on installation was not the part, it was the fact it was buried back behind other tightly space items. It was an issue of the design of the furnace.

The sensor I received was not as shown. The connecting harness in the photos was not included, and the dimensions of the probe are different from the information provided on Amazon. Overall length was correct (5-1/4 inches), but the length from the metal collar to the tip was a full 4 inches, not 3-5/8 inches as advertised. Maybe it'll work anyway?? I really don't know. Fortunately, I don't have to find out -- I have another sensor from a different source that has the correct dimensions and came with the replacement harness.

Ordered this to replace the old dirty flame sensor on my furnace. Just had to screw it into place and plug it in; no problem at all. I'll definitely order another one of these when this one wears out.

Direct OEM replacement for a Nordyne GL1RA 072C-16B natural gas furnace. The symptoms of my system were that you could hear the unit fan start and then 30 seconds later the burners would ignite and then after a few seconds the burners would shut off and the unit would continue this cycle. I noticed there was a control board that had a couple of LEDs, (1) Red and (1) Yellow. The red LED is always on for control power, but the yellow LED is for flame detection from the flame sensor which did not illuminate. I needed to get the heater up and going until the part could arrive a few days later so I removed the flame sensor and cleaned it with steel wool and the heater worked properly until I could replace with the new flame sensor.
