Not an OEM HSI, it is an OEM replacement that does not fit.Does not fit Nortec, Miller, Gibson, Frigidaire furnace brackets without some work.

This part advertises that it replaces the Nordyne 903758. The ceramic tab that hold the ignitor in place was on the other side of the original bracket and on the bracket provided with the product. I am not sure if I received the wrong ignitor from the factory with mismatched brackets but I finally threw this product in frustration. I never got a chance to contact the company to see if I received the wrong part in error. The ignitor also took a week to receive it which is a eternity when you don't have any heat.I ordered the exact same "Nordyne 903758 Replacement Ignitor Kit" from another vendor and received it in two business days for a few bucks cheaper. That Ignitor was correct and took me about 5 minutes to install because it was the correct part I ordered. Hopefully, I won't have to wait over week again to get my furnace going again.

Works as described and clearly packaged for many different installs. I used it to replace part number 632-363. It fit perfectly and works great.A couple of things. I think part 632-363 is generally been updated to part 903758. The normal igniter #903758 is larger than 632-363 and while it may fit, I broke it trying to get is mounted and in. This part is the same size and dropped in easily.

This ignitor works as advertised. With my particular model of furnace I found that I needed to keep and use the original mounting bracket, and splice in the wire ends of the ignitor into the wires from my previous ignitor.Construction-wise, this ignitor seems to be a little beefier than the one I replaced. About four years ago my heater guy told me that my old ignitor was on its last leg, so with the severe winter in Colorado I decided not to press my luck with it any more.Replacing the ignitor myself probably saved about $100 on part mark-up costs and labor costs over having my heater guy do it.At this point the ignitor has been in my working in my heater for about 10 weeks. I'm expecting it to work for many more winters.

I had to modify the mounting bracket a bit to get it to work, but I knew that before purchasing. This ignitor has been working for over a month now with no issues. I'm not sure how often these go out, but I'm thinking that I should purchase another to keep around as a backup. It wasn't eligible for prime shipping and took approximately 5 or 6 days to receive, hence the 4 star rating.

This was a lifesaver. My Nordyne gas furnace died on a Saturday morning. I tried quite a few places locally but the part was unobtainable. Sure enough, found it on Amazon. Ordered it immediately with expedited shipping and it arrived the very next Tuesday. Half an hour later, there was heat again. I did have the option of purchasing a universal part at a local chain store BUT this is a gas furnace we're talking about and I don't know about the rest of you but I do not have a whole lot of faith in universal replacements. AND, by the way, the universal replacement with all it's brackets, screws, and adapters would have cost OVER 3 TIMES this part did through Amazon and it was an EXACT fit.

I had looked everywhere in my area for this part and couldn't find anybody that stocked this part to sell me without having a repair tech coming out and charging me a $90 service call fee to replace it. Even then they wanted twice as much for this part than what I paid for it on here. Fast shipping from this seller and thanks for not over charging us people on this replacement part too. Took me like 5 minutes to replace the broken part and saved myself a service fee for a job I was able to do myself. Would buy again from this seller.

I ORDERED THIS PARTICULAR IGNITOR AS A BACKUP. I HAVE NOT EMPLOYED IT YET. IT SEEMS TO BE OF DECENT QUALITY AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE MOLEX ADAPTERS. THERE IS AN ASSORTMENT OF THESE ADAPTERS INCLUDED. SINCE IGNITORS OF THIS NATURE ARE CONSUMABLES, MEANING YOU NEED TO HAVE AN EXTRA ONE ON HAND, YOU SHOULD KEEP AT LEAST ONE AND LEARN TO REPLACE THEM. REPLACEMENT IS VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. BASICALLY THERE IS A SCREW AND A MOLEX CONNECTOR. THERE ARE ONLINE HOW TO INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOST FURNACES. YOU REALLY CAN DO IT. IT SAVES BUNCHES OF MONEY. THE JOB IS A MATTER OF TWENTY MINUTES OR SO. THE SECOND TIME YOU DO IT, IT WILL TAKE HALF THAT TIME. BETWEEN THE SAVINGS ON THE PART AND THE SAVINGS ON THE REPAIRMAN'S LABOR, YOU WILL HAVE SAVED AT LEAST A HUNDRED DOLLARS WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE.
