I used this this morning for my kids. I'm looking for something that is good for kids to use (with adult supervision). I found out the hard way that 2min is to long if you want over medium eggs, but 1min is almost perfect. My son loves that. For the omelet, it worked great. My daughter loved her cheese eggs. I would recommend that you follow the directions and mix the eggs outside and then pour. In an effort to save time and dishes I just mixed in the cooker. It worked but you have to be very careful not to beat the eggs out of the container. Would definitely recommend. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, it feels flimsy. When coming out of the microwave, and especially if your making over medium eggs it can be difficult to remove eggs without breaking the yolks.

Norpro is an excellent durable brand that has never let me down. This is easy to use, easy to wash. I don't need to use oil on the rubber. Not using any oil at all means I can stay super healthy

My husband loves this. It’s oortsbke, easy to use, and easy to clean. Forewarning, it does not do as well if you add more than 2 eggs. I wish you could but it works best with two eggs, so if you think you’d prefer more, just make multiple omelets. Honestly it’s so quick and easy that it’s almost fun to use.

Amazing product. You get excellent fluffy omelets with this product. I have used veggies, meat alternatives etc. 2 mins in microwave and you have a perfect omelet. Will probably never make another way. Easy clean up just basically rinse and you are on to the next one. Perfect for regular eggs an egg whites whatever your preference. A must have highly recommend

Product is easy to clean and use but leaks out the side if you don’t limit the amount of liquid in it.

Not as good as those made out of rigid plastic-watch out for the holes in each side at the hinge. I used to have an omelet maker that was made out of more rigid plastic but I lost it during a move. I thought this one looked nice, but I’m less than thrilled with this purchase. You definitely have to experiment to get decent results. The first time I used pre-cooked peppers, onions, sausage and added Egg Beaters and cheese – it was too much even though I followed the directions for the correct amounts. The liquid dribbled out of the holes that are in both sides at the hinge, making a mess in the microwave once I started cooking it. The melted cheese stayed on top of the egg mixture and stuck to the top of the omelet maker. The next time I just used sausage and cheese with a little less Egg Beaters and flipped it over after 1 min. 20 sec., then microwaved it for another 60 seconds. It turned out better, although it was more like an egg bake instead of an omelet.UPDATE AFTER EXPERIMENTING FOR 1 WEEK - GOT A BETTER WAY THAN THE DIRECTIONS SUGGEST:Figured out how to make this taste and look more like an omelet - I poured about 1/3 c of Egg Beaters in each side, left it open flat, covered with a paper plate and microwaved for about 1 minute, 15 seconds. Then I added equal amounts of pre-cooked sausage, peppers and onions to each side, topped with cheese, covered again, and microwaved for another minute. I then closed the omelet maker to make an actual omelet, opened it up, put the paper plate on top and flipped it over on to the plate - Voila! It now looked and tasted more like an actual omelet. Handling this omelet maker is fairly precarious because silicone is very floppy and when it is full, you have to be very careful because of the leaky sides. You HAVE to put something like a plate or a paper towel underneath or it will make a mess of your microwave. To make matters worse, depending on what the ingredients you use, it is NOT easy to clean even though I used spray PAM to prevent sticking, and the silicone retains odors – yuck!UPDATE AFTER USING FOR 1 MONTH:I wash this by hand using mild dish detergent and dry with paper towels after each use. I never use any utensils that would damage it, but it's splitting already!UPDATE AFTER USING FOR SEVEN WEEKS:It's almost completely split in half.
