I was plesantly surprised by thie quality of this leather pouch. And that this was actually made with REAL leather and also made it the USA. I purchased this to carry my rosary, but when I opend the box and saw how nice this was and how tight the closure was, I started using it as a front pocket coin purse. I am ordering a second one for my rosary now. You will be very satisfied with this leather pouch.

For some reason, coins somehow manage to slip out of the top when I have this in my pocket. This is my fourth coin purse with this style, but the first one with that issue.The leather is a big bulkier than my previous coin purses. I personally would rather not have that extra weight.As compared to my previous three coin purses, I would rate this one as the worst fit for what I was expecting.

Bought for family member to replace old one. He is very happy with it though I felt is was a bit to small. But he has no complaints . Clasp works very nicely,not to stiff,coins stay in place,not to big in pocket. Seems well made, leather is soft enough but firm. As I said ,he is very pleased with this change purse. Thank you.

Amazon seems to think this coin pouch is a pair of shoes (How long can you wear them comfortably? How was the width?)Anyway, decent/good quality leather. A tiny bit smaller than expected, but basically what I had hoped it would be. You can see the metal sides of the top part (brass colored) which is fine. Will fit nicely in any pocket. Coins did fall out if I turned it upside down and shook it a little. Shouldn't fall out in your pocket though.

I first bought a black pouch. the closure was tight, and the leather was soft and flexible. It was as I expected. I later bought a different pouch, for use with coins, and the differentiate the pouches, I decided to buy a pouch in the green color. When it arrived, I noticed the leather was not as flexible. No problem there, however, I opened the green pouch, and I noticed it opened much easier, and did not close as tight. Inside this green pouch was a, "MADE IN USA" tag. This tag is not inside the black pouch I bought. I placed some coins inside the green pouch, held it upside-down, and shook it a few times. The coins fell out, starting with the narrowest coins.I decided to return that green pouch, and though I'd like a different color than black, I am playing it safe, and just ordering another black pouch. I don't want to get a different color than black, and then find it similar to the green pouch, in that it lacks a tight closure.The black pouch I bought prior to the green pouch has a tight closure, and when held upside-down, coins don't slide out.So, I like the pouch, when I bought it in black, it has a tight closure, flexible leather, looks nice. The green pouch lacked a tight closure, the leather was not as flexible, but it did look nice.

Tired of getting up from the couch and then having to take it apart to retrieve your coins? How about dumping out your pocket completely at the cashier, digging for those pennies that keep accumulating and then dropping them on the floor? This "man purse," as my daughter calls it, rides comfortably in my dress pants, tight jeans, and everything in between, without having loose coins jingling, or wearing a hole in my pocket.The top is easy to open, then completely closes, securing the contents. I carried a couple of very small screws in my coin purse for a few days until I got to the hardware store to buy replacements....still in the purse, right where I left them. Appears to be soft and supple full-grain leather. It shares my pocket with a multi-tool, eye drops, and whatever I need to cram in there...no scratches, tears, snags. Seems to get softer and better looking with age.At 3.5" x 3.0" it's the perfect size: large enough to carry up to several dollars in coins, small enough to go all day unnoticed in your pocket until you need it.
