Your cart is empty. The Norton 7500 Series Door Closer offers customers the ideal combination of superior performance, strength and quality. Ideal for interior or exterior doors in facilities that demand reliability such as Classrooms, Offices, main entrance doors, Hospitals, high use and high abuse doors.
All Closers are full rack-and-pinion types with cast aluminum alloy body and are non-handed to permit installation on doors of either hand. The Closer fluid contains lubricity and anti-oxidation agents maintaining stable viscosity to allow door closer to perform in temperatures ranging from extremely high to as low as -40°F.

Easy to install, very good build quality, very hard to adjust to my exact requirements; but if you spend the time and effort to fine tune it, it beats most other door closers. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Solid door closer with a lot of adjustability. Only issue is the bolt that holds the arm at the right length to latch the door is only held by tension against a flat, smooth surface. When the door is opened the pressure from the spring and valves eventually causes the bolt to slide and shorten the arm length, especially if it's opened until it hits the back check point where pressure is highest. This issue could easily be fixed by Norton by machining groves into the top of the arm. You can also just take a file and make the grooves yourself. And use red Loctite on the bolt.
