About this item

  • Multiple configurations for use in arboriculture, winches, vehicle recovery, logging, farming & more
  • Fast, effective and consistent positive connection alternative to tying knots (prevents knot tightening caused by dynamic loading of rope)
  • Optional ring attachment through spliced termination or scaffold knot
  • Tensile Strength: 13,500 lbs. (60 kN)
  • Solid forged steel construction

The Rapid Rig consists of an octagonal ring & a toggle. The ring is attached at the end of your rope via splice and a toggle which floats on the rope through its hole. The Rapid Rig is intended to be used with an appropriate rope to create a positive connection between the ring at the end of the rope & the toggle floating on that rope. The connection of the toggle and ring can be used to make a choked termination around a solid object. It was designed for use in rigging, hauling and winching. The purpose of this product is to provide a fast, consistent positive connection as an alternative to knots. The Rapid Rig should never be used for personal protective applications or for anchoring work positioning or life support lines. Recommended rope size 3/16" to 1/2".

This is my second rapid ring, today I had a new ground guy using it flawlessly, really makes lowering limbs more efficient and less timely. Highly recommend!

Man i was super happy until our new rope showed up and it was 5/8 instead of 1/2 , apparently the 1/2 was on back order and the rapid rig is junk on 5/8 . You would think a device made for rigging would handle a larger rope

Great little tool for running a quick speedline. Very efficient as you work your way up the tree.

This was a good idea they came up with. It has some draw backs however. Pain in the butt if you have to thread the rope through redirects (rings) as you have to remove this equipment or work from the other end of the rope. And it is really not much faster than tying a timber hitch. Actually slower if you a use to tying a timer hitch often. But they deserve credit for coming up with an idea like this.
