I was going to replace a silk lining in a designer leather purse. But no. The needle is perfect and I'm happy to add it to my collection. But. That was not an alteration I could do so I changed my challenge without using the needle.

I bought these needles to sew some small bits of minky fabric by hand (I was having trouble attaching some small pieces to a plush). In the end I bought 2 packages (4 needles total) and 2 needles broke before I gave up entirely. I could not get through more than 1 piece of the fabric at a time then they would break.It's quite hard to sew with these so I do not recommend them for that!Unfortunately the thicker curved needles out there do not work either...you are better off making do with straight needles and a thimble.

I love using this curved needle. I use it for beading and handstitching -- especially when I want the thread to go through the top fabric only, not through to the other side. Though that type of work is possible with a straight needle, the curved needle makes it easier for me. I can't do without it.

I do a lot of 3-D beading where a curved needle is the only way to get into very close beads without breaking them. I had put off buying these because the listing doesn't indicate the size. But I couldn't find anything else where I could get it quickly so I ordered it. I was very pleasantly surprised that the size has worked very well in a lot of very tight areas. I would say that it is probably a 10. Had I been given a choice I would have gone for an 11 or 12 but so far this one has done the job. Very happy with the purchase.

These are hard to find and I was so happy to purchase them. They are perfect for tying down metal threads on the back of my work for my goldwork.

i could not find its size before i bought it,so i took the chance and bought it and it is so small it is like one and half inches or two inces long and what i needed was like three or four inches.
