Well it is best to just get all of this in a midi controller(keys,pads,and actual midi ports) . But for those who need a little more control there is this thing. It will not let you just plug it in and hook it up to your DAW with a midi keyboard. You will need a midi hub. Further more you need a midi hub/combiner. All hubs do not combine the signals into one. So you can set it all up as one. This was a huge disappointment for me. This unit should be a combiner in it's self to be useful (but It lacks MIDI ports). So don't think this money pit will just plug and play. I do not use the Abelton DAW so I may have to set everything up as well. This is a poor choice for any novice. I thought I would just plug this thing in and and plug and play GO! But no I had to spend another 120. on other parts such as the hub and blu tooth adapter. This is really not good considering the price of this unit.
