Used these on a 2007 Honda Fit with 200K miles they replace a previous budget set installed around 100K miles when original factory coil pack failed.Replaced spark plugs with coil packs both times.

These coils are awesome. This is my second time using these (under a different generic label then). Four years ago, I had to replace a faulty coil. Much to my surprise, OEM coils are expensive. Really stinking expensive. The generics I bought on Amazon then worked perfectly, even though the product reviews said they don't last quite as long as OEM. At a third of the price of the OEM, it was worth it. And they lasted four years and about 50,000 miles. Then one pooped out two days ago. I ordered these yesterday and got them today, literally in 26 hours. They are the exact same coils I got before, at the same price, in the same exact box as before. Installation was a breeze. You literally just need a 10mm socket and about 15 minutes total (2007 Honda Fit). They worked like a champ. And the other ones got me about 50k miles, so no complaints about longevity, considering the price difference to OEM. Consider changing your spark plugs out at the same time like I did. You may as well while you have access to them, and since spark plugs generally don't last a whole ton longer than ignition coils do. Just be aware that you'll get about half to two thirds the life out of these that OEM coils have, but they're literally one third the cost and work just as well. My 17 year old Honda Fit runs great again. Awesome.

I drive a 2007 Honda Fit Sport. While on the highway the car just lost power and it started to run rough. The check engine light started blinking and it sounded funny too. I researched about what's wrong with the Fit as I was not ready to spend a lot on any kind of repairs right now since Christmas is coming up. This situation led me here at Amazon since the dealership cost a lot of money for the OEM part. This product was already vetted by a lot of people here so I went with this too. Replacement is very easy. Just one 10mm bolt for each plug/coil. Wire connector is a pinch and pull affair. Took me about 30 minutes to install, not bad. Started it up and it ran like brand new again. Some of the people here said that this product has a short service life of about 2 years. So I bought another set just in case. The second set I got stays in the car with a 10mm wrench if ever this happens again in 2 years and ready to replace immediately at the side of the road.
