If you're looking for a stylish Quick Release Steering Wheel set up, but also have function and weight savings on your mind? Well, you have just found the shortest, easiest-to-use, racing hub adapter in the market. While they perform just as well as our normal Short Hubs, the race hub is more compact. In most cases, we have removed over an inch to the height of the hub by removing the horn attachments, along with the steering wheel mating surface, and opting for a Quick Release style attachment. This means that you MUST have an NRG Quick Release attached to your steering wheel in order to mount it on the Race Hub. (There is no 6 hole pattern on the Race Hub)

This thing was the perfect item for our Kawasaki Mule. We paired this with an NRG quick release to easily remove the steering wheel from the vehicle for security. This item arrived quickly and was packaged well from the manufacturer. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a hub adapter for their vehicle.

It probably deserves a 5 star since it was never really intended to work on the Teryx KRX 1000, but only regular Teryx although it's working for me. Other sellers on the web claim it's purpose made for the KRX 1000 but it's not. It fits with enough slop to make me uneasy. It's tightened down on my steering shaft with the steering wheel nut so that combined with the sloppy fit in the splines it works well enough.With power steering it's plenty fine but should I ever loose power steering on the trails and have to torque hard on the wheel will be a potential failure point. I've turned the steering wheel with the KRX off on my smooth garage floor and it holds fine but if I ever have to really crank it hard.. I dunno. Still, it works.I had a steering wheel adapter for my KRX and had the quick release mounted to that and it was great until I mounted a second battery behind the driver's seat which forced me to sit closer to the steering wheel. Not wanting to lose my quick release steering wheel I chose to try this short hub quick release adapter and it works. Much better than it was before.
