Required a lot of modifications to work.The bolts that attach the two arms are too long, they stick through the arm about 8mm, and the bolts end up hitting my speaker. I ended up grinding off the edges of two hex nuts and using them as spacers. The two brackets that attach to the speaker are flimsy, and my speaker was sagging and crooked. I ended up throwing them away and using one solid bar all the way across to connect the two arms. Technically when I was done, I did have a recessed speaker mount, but I was halfway through the process of just building the entire thing.

This is a very strong and solid sound bar mount. Its bars are about 1/4 inch thick. Other mounts have holes which limits you as to how to adjust them but this one has slots so it is infinitely adjustable and allows you options as to how high to post the sound bar. You can place the sound bar either above or below the TV set which is great because you may have a different installation. I put my TV on top of a TV stand so I put my sound bar above the TV set by using the VESA mount in the back. That works out great.

Listing says it supports soundbars weighing up to 30 pounds but my Samsung HW-MS650 is just shy of 17 pounds and is tilted at the floor. This is due to the weak metal used in the bottom part of the mount. There were some other problems and they would be mostly okay once setup and secured. The screws for the bottom "depth adjustment" piece and the bottom mount brackets both use a bolt into the metal of the depth arm. Meaning anytime you adjust the soundbar's position you are either tightening or loosening the arm holding the soundbars position. Since I had to try about five different approaches to overcome the weak and flexible bottom part this annoyance became a large problem. It may be that the HW-MS650 is intended to be installed on a wall and uses two "arms" that reach under the soundbar and screw to threaded receivers while the "wall" mount is a metal ring that slots into a keyhole cutout in the arms. When attaching the arms and ring to the bottom of the NSY-90200 mount the metal bends so that the soundbar is pointing 30 - 60 degrees from level. I was able to bend the bottom part to get to 30 degrees from the original 60 but it would not hold. I did flip the bottom part around so the soundbar as under the bolt part and mounted the bottom parts above the positioning bar to try and strengthen it, but no change. In the end I have to use the attached tray (metal connected to TV mount post) to hold the soundbar in place since I was concerned the bend would return and possible snap the metal of the bottom part. It had a lot of possibility and with a couple of pound sound bar maybe it would work better, but that was not my experience.

My application is the TV Mount Assembly so first I weighed the Soundbar Mount ( approximately 5.7 pounds ) and my Soundbar to make sure my existing wall mounted articulation TV Mount had enough weight capacity. Also assure the 25 inch height length worked with my existing bracket. My TV Mount moves away from wall and moves side to side so decided to mount Soundbar at base. The vertical pieces have open slots so these were able to fit onto my existing bracket and adjust for height of soundbar. Bracket components snugly tighten until all assembly complete then final tighten. Soundbar installed onto bracket as final assembly item then TV hookup. Best having second person holding Soundbar during tightening.Following the text and pictorial instructions —- good for me and had no issues. Works well, fairly simple to assemble and install. The included screws and spacers did not work for me so I had to get them separately. Currently using to mount my soundbar to a rolling cart tv mount to use in a sim rig, while awaiting a different multi-monitor mount.

I bought this only because I read the description wrong! I thought these were 2 sound bars instead of a sound bar mounting rack! The GOOD thing about it is I’ve been thinking about hanging my big 70.” Tv on my wall. What has stopped me from doing this is my sound bar I have! I simply wouldn’t have anywhere to place my sound bar! So my mistake is a GOOD mistake! The sound bar mount is pretty heavy, extremely well made! It will definitely need mounted with anchors for thenscrews which comes with it. So when we can figure out exactly how to arrange our living room furniture. I believe I’m going to go ahead and have my tv mounted to the wall now since I do have something to sit my sound bar on also! It’s seriously a very sturdy very well made sound bar holder! Beautiful black metal that won’t ever show signs of age or peeling! I know one like this one would cost alot more than this one is priced at! You can also sit your tv on it along with your sound bar and you can make it swivel anywhere you want to watch tv! Wonderful invention!!

I came across this product accidentally. I needed it even though I didn't realize it existed. I've been living with my sound bar on a shelf for a few months and I hated it. After getting this mount installed I am thrilled. I will start out by stating that the instructions are horrible. They don't explain much of anything but the basics. It's all done with pictures. The good is that this is overbuilt for strength an durability. I am very happy with the mount itself. Once you figure out where everything goes it's fairly easy to do if you lay your tv down flat and you have a partner to rehang the TV/Soundbar together. I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out.
