I used EasyDry prior to using to EasySeal to remove any moisture that may have been in the system. My 2.5 ton heat-pump was to the point of leaking at least two pounds per week. One year later after putting in the EasyDry/EasySeal, the system is working fine, apparently with no leaks.I've used other stop-leak products on older cars and they sealed the AC system but I'd always hesitated to try it on a home system. But I was at the point of a complete replacement so, what the heck, if it fails I've only lost the money spent trying it. If it works, great!

Have used easy dry and easy seal in my Lennox Florida house A/C system (A/C system 5.1 yrs old at the time) . It stopped or slowed the system leak and has let me run the system for 3 years so far with no negative consequences. Three A/C Contractors told me 3 years ago I needed a new system. The newer A/C systems with 410 refrigerant are high pressure (upwards of 450 psi on the high side) and many leak as a result. I have ordered refrigerant from the internet and have recharged the system about 4 times in the last 3 years, and if I have to recharge the system once a year it's fine with me. In addition I still have my original home (bought in 1977) in which I installed an A/C system myself (now the A/C industry has made that illegal) in 1986,and it still works and I have had not one service call on it. I suspect it's because it's a low pressure system, and the component were not made in China!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned my lesson. Do not put this stuff in any system unless last ditch effort before having to buy a new one.I have read reports that a lot of this stuff will cause damage to compressors. My AC compressor quit working all together after using these products, but I was prepared to buy new anyway.

Great product, had a slow leak in house ac unit, took about 2lbs/year in my Lexxox ac. PS&G tech told me I needed a new unit and that these sealers did not work. First used the drying product and than this sealer and worked great. No problems, for about $120 for the two cans and hose it saved me about $4500 for a new unit.

Used this in conjunction with their EasySeal in a 1999 Ford ranger that I purchased without a functioning air conditioner following the instructions for a small refrigeration unit. Amazing results! Super cold air all last summer. Although the stuff is not cheap it is a lot cheaper than tracking down and repairing a leak in an auto Ac unit. And these products together really worked unlike other AC sealers on the market. If you go to the manufactures web site and look at some o there technical manuals you willl find one that that specifically addresses the use of their procucts in auto AC systems. I don't understand why the company does not more actively promote this application because when used together the products seem to work very well

we really have no way of telling if it worked or not until it doesn't. We intalled this along w/ the easy seal and it fixed the problem. We are thrilled there is such a product on the market. Unfortunately many air conditioner repair people are not honest and tell you that your whole system needs to be replaced when there may be a small leak that can be fixed w/ the easy dry/easy seal combo. we also had a larger leak which we were able to detect and repair using welding w/ mapp gas. I estimate that we saved around $2000 because of this product
