Love that these cute little "utensils" not only introduce a child to self-feeding but also have them looking quite adorable doing it!The quality of the set is very nicely designed and structured with the important detail that little bitty hands and various grasping techniques need. While easy for the child to use to mimic adult behavior it also delivers the goods... ie, the food. I find the spoons to be especially well-equipped with thicker consistency foods like yogurts, cottage cheese, even oatmeal. It allows the child to dip in and even if they don't have the scooping action down the spoons retain enough food for the child to be satisfied with the process. The forks are softer and maybe could use a slight bit more rigidity however with the age group this set is intended for that softer less piercing style of the forks is actually quite sensible. Its fun to watch the user stab away and finally lock in and bring it on home to the mouth!Great set for a youngun and highly recommend these learning and functional tools for the new diners amongst us!

Got these for my Nephew whos 7 months old. He's been learning to use utensils while he eats. These have helped him! While he does give up and ultimately use his hands he does attempt to use these first. I should say, he doesn't give up because of the utensils. They are just slowing him down cause he's still learning. lolI have no complaints on them. They pick up food nicely and are helping him learn to use forks/spoons. The quality feels great. I love the fact that the forks have extra prongs to help pick up food and the spoons while not super deep get the right amount on them. They are the perfect size for a child learning to feed themselves and they aren't too heavy for them to pick up. They are also super easy clean, goes right in the dishwasher! Highly recommend for anyone with a little learning to use a fork and spoon.

Great set to try to teach my 14-month-old to use utensils. She hasn't quite got the hang of it yet but these are easy for her to manipulate, and I love that they are dishwasher safe so I can throw them in with my regular dishes. They are a great value from a trusted brand, and I like them like I do all Nuk products I've tried.

I got these because they are from a trusted brand. So many brands I have not heard of, so I have no idea what kind of quality control they have. NUK is a well-known, and well-liked brand. I got them for my nephew. I am an occasional babysitter and wanted to have some supplies on hand so that mom doesn’t have to lug so much to my house. I like that these have a mouth guard to protect their soft pallet and to keep from accidently gagging baby. They are also easy to use and easy to clean. I don’t expect they will get enough use to test its durability, but they seem good quality. So far, I am happy with these.

I have used Nuk's spoons before and love them for baby led weaning for purees. This fork design is brilliant for helping littles more easily spear food. My son still picks food off the tines to eat, but I think he'll get the hang of it. I like how easy the utensils are to hold. The forks are a little difficult to clean because of all the crevices, but with a good spray down, they run through the dishwasher fine. The price is right. I do wish they weren't made out of plastic, but I suppose I can't have everything, and my son won't be using them too too long, so I'm not going to worry about it.

This 4-pack of NUK pretensil spoons and forks is great for encouraging toddlers to imitate adults and start using utensils. The design makes them easy to grip, and the spoon especially works really well for soft foods like mashed potatoes or yogurt. However, the pretensil fork doesn’t pick up certain foods very well—items like mac and cheese can be tricky unless the food has some thickness or stickiness. My toddler got a bit frustrated and ended up ditching the fork and started eating with his hands. Overall, it’s a great starter set for self-feeding, especially if you’re serving the right types of foods.

These work wonderfully for a small child just learning to use utensils! The spoon is a great size and holds onto things like yogurt well. They are both easy to hold onto and work nicely for softer foods. The packaging was odd they just come in a plastic bag which wasn't very nicely presented, but it works i guess.

The NUK Pretensil set has been a great first step into our self feeding journey. The easy-grip handle shape is perfectly sized for tiny hands, and the dipper spoon design helps minimize mess with thicker foods like yogurt or mashed veggies. The fork is soft enough for safety but still works well for picking up small bites of fruit. It also seems to be a good chew toy for those itchy gums.My only small complaint is that while they’re top-rack dishwasher safe, they sometimes hold onto food in the grooves, so a quick pre-rinse helps. Still, they're BPA-free and durable. Great value with two of each included!
