First off, I desperately needed a new lockbox, specifically one with remote connectivity for my Airbnb. I waited over two weeks to get this one, only to have to return it. The device is not user-friendly; the setup is clunky, and the instructions seem to have been written by someone who is not a native English speaker. After finally figuring out how to access the setup (hint: it’s not the website from the instructions; it’s an actual IP address they don’t tell you about), I thought I had completed it. However, when I came back later to access the admin settings to start setting up the codes, I was completely locked out. At no point during the setup was I asked to set a password, but now it requires one that somebody apparently set up because it wasn’t me. It also won’t accept the password picture I set during setup. This thing is a complete joke. But the worst part about this device is what they don’t tell you. This device is not technically remote. It goes to sleep to conserve power, and while in this mode, you CANNOT access it remotely. Someone has to physically press the Enter key to wake up the device, and only then will it be available remotely. That alone defeats the whole purpose of buying it in the first place. Worse yet, there is NO APP; everything is done through a website. Honestly, how hard is it to have a device with Wi-Fi access in 2024? Please don’t waste your money and valuable time; this product is absolutely not worth it.

This is the most frustrated and unsatisfied I have been with regards to a purchase on amazon. The product does not work reliably or at all in cold weather. The construction of the box itself is great quality however the software and electronics fall so short that it renders the product useless.

While the product is built like a brick, the one I received was either defective, or had a dead battery from the start. Couldn't even get it to turn on following the pitiful instructions included with the device. Actually found the correct working site to go to after finally getting it to turn on. (I needed to use the enclosed 9v plug that fits in the bottom of the device. Got it registered, tested the online code, and it unlocked once before dying again. Haven't been able to get it to unlock again since. Submitted a support request on their website, but I'm not holding my breath. This will probably end up being returned to Amazon.

I have to say that I am very disappointed in the two boxes that I purchased. I could never get the boxes to connect to Wi-Fi, so all of the promised remote functionality was nonexistent. The biggest disappointment I had was after three months of use, and changing batteries every 2 to 3 weeks, one lockbox has completely failed. The batteries appear to be dead, but even using the 9 V auxiliary power source I cannot get the box to respond. I am removing both lockboxes from their locations (one with a hammer and pry bar because I can’t open it) and replacing them with good old mechanical Tumblr lockboxes so that I can actually have clients get to the keys when they need to.

I think this could be a very valuable product if it worked and was reliable. The user experience and support material is very poor. The wifi drops frequently and is unreliable. The system appears to be more like a proof of concept that wasn’t fully revised into a finished product.

1st off, I think the instructions could be a little clearer. When asking for a "picture key", it let me take a picture. You can't do that. You need to "pick" a picture you've already taken. Now this is "my bad", but still...I will say however, I contacted support, they were very helpful in getting me through this. Now that I have gotten over "my" initial setup problems, I like this device very much.Tip: I also had problems when trying to use Microsoft's Edge browser. I switched to the Chrome browser and had a much better experience.

It takes batteries and died in about a week and you cant get back into it without a special adapter and a 9 v battery. User interface online is not customer friendly. Limited in its abilities.

Once you understand the product, it serves it’s purpose.Would like to see a smartphone app developed for this device.Would like to see that the time setting for opening the switch to be longer.

Great lockbox once you understand how it works. This box takes some getting used to at first, and it works great once I know what it is doing. Apparently, the box goes to sleep after every successful unlock, and there is a 20-second delay after the unlock before I can press the * key to turn it back on. I was told by support that this is to make sure there is enough time for the box to send its data through the internet before it enters sleep mode. In normal use, I don’t think anyone would notice this delay. It was just a bit frustrating at first when I was testing the box without knowing the delay was there.Other than that, having a truly connected lockbox is great! When I was talking to support, I made a comment that the unlock time seems to be a bit short and users might not be able to open it in time before it relocks, and they were able to customize this time for me right then over the air! Not to mention I can now update access codes to the box remotely, saving me a lot of time and headache. The picture key feature is nice. I can use it if I don’t want to remember a bunch of numbers, or I can use it as a backup to get back into my box in case I forget my code. Overall it’s a great box.
