Packed well to protect the ceramic from breaking. For some reason grease pen marks were all over these so a bit of additional cleaning was required. Has no markings as to whether they’re microwave safe so I would definitely not use them that way. The bowls had no noticeable flaws in production. Decent product for the price!

I love eating food out of bowls with a spoon. It’s probably one of my favorite ways to enjoy a proper repast! Bowls are, therefore, integral to my gustatory explorations as well as my more quotidian culinary needs. I prefer this size and shape of bowl above any other because it’s large enough to accommodate a whole meal but not too big to seem overwhelming. The low sides prevent things from running off or sliding away and they’re low enough that they make it easy to scoop things out of it. They’re a nice weight so they don’t feel cheap but they’re not overly heavy when filled with foodstuffs. In short, they are the perfect bowls and, because they’re white, they go with pretty much any other dishes already in the cabinet. Now if I could only find perfect spoons…
