Unfortunately, the welds on this product do not hold up. Within 2 days the weld cracked on one side and the post fell over on the deck breaking a chair.

This product has arrived multiple times with missing parts, damaged packaging, and is completely useless. Gave up.

I rebuilt my deck and thought about the different ways to do my railing posts and decided to try these post anchors.Much to my surprise they are pretty well built. Now, what I found that worked best was to block out the area under the deck boards where you plan on putting these to keep them nice and tight and free from wobbling around. The instructions were not very clear on installation and you are left to figure out a few things on your own but here is what I will share to the next person looking to use these.1) block the area with 2”x8” laying flat in between the joists to have a solid anchor point.2) use the center hole in the middle of the bracket (which is covered by tape so I didn’t even notice it) with a 5/16 lag into your block which will keep the bracket from swaying when you are complete.3) use the final 4 holes around the outside for added support.4) finally, tighten the bolts/hardware that came with the unit (I had some missing bolts and had to go to home-depot to buy more) just bring one with you and match it in the hardware section.Overall I’m pretty happy with the outcome but I’m not sure how they will hold up over time?So far so good and been up for a few months now and still solid as when I first installed.

This item arrives without the blots shown in photo. Either ship with bolts as shown or make new photos that show BOLTS NOT INCLUDED. Kind of a SCAM showing a photo with bolts and shipping a product without bolts.

el material esta muy bueno, solo que lasmedidas no corresponden a las medidas estandar de madera en México, la compré para unos barrotes de 4x4, pero quedaron olgadas, porque las medidas de referencia en la madera no es la medida real
