This monocular has actually grown on me since i have mounted it to a helmet and gotten used to the settings on the app & the unit itself. Definately far from military grade but with the IR set on level 3, i can see the livestock at the treeline 300 yds away and with my IR illuminator on narrow spread, 500 yds easy. What I actually see through the view finder is slightly better quality than the screenshots captured. The mount took some trial and error getting it in perfect position to my eye. Unlike others, this mount is actually Metal & not flimsy plastic. If you are looking for a budget good basic digital night vision monocular with sturdy and solid mount that works perfect for what it is, this one is a good unit. If you want ultra HD military grade white phosphorus tubes, then you are looking in the wrong price range. For the price, this in my opinion it an Exellent choice.

Really works great for a budget night vision set. Can see great in total darkness out to several hundred yards. I will definitely be using this journeying to my hunting spots in the night this fall. Recommend!

I recently purchased a random Chinese digital night vision monocular from Amazon, and the usage experience has left me excited yet nervous. I am a fan of night hunting and often use the Sightmark wraith 4K max for hunting activities at night. In order to better discover and track targets in the dark, I have always looking for an night vision device that can be installed on a helmet.My existing equipment, the nightfox NVG binos, can be installed on the helmet through a GoPro bracket, but its dual-tube design causes me slight discomfort when aiming and tracking. They do not provide a 1x optical lens, which often causes me to lose direction in dark environments.However, this newly purchased night vision monocular has brought me a completely new usage experience. Its image quality is better, it is lighter, and more importantly, it has an even more excellent helmet mounting system. Although I still need to conduct further durability tests on it in real hunting environments, considering only the price factor, this product has left a profound impression on me.In the next few weeks, I plan to use this new night vision monocular for practical testing during real hunting activities. If its performance can withstand the test of real-world environments, I believe it will become a powerful assistant for my future hunting trips.

I was very impressed with this product. However, after buying a $700 thermal imaging monocular and returning it, I decided to buy this product because the view was much clearer. It has a very clear image and an integrated infrared light, which is a huge advantage. If you are looking for a product, I suggest giving this a try. If you don't like it, the return process is very easy.

The automatic adjustment function of this night vision device can affect night vision when encountering nearby objects, such as trees or other obstacles. However, the price is very affordable and definitely worth the money.
