Quickly attaches to the back of a fast helmet, the design is simple and well built. You are able to get the weight where you need by adding or removing 5 different weights, you can also store batteries in the pouch to keep a few spares. The stitching looks good and the materials used are nice as well. The hook and loop closes very tightly. It's a pretty cheap option but it's a good value.

It's somewhat works, but for me, I need a little more weight to it. The design is ok and all but still, I wish it would accommodate more weight if possible. Other than that, the mounts where you need to screw are made out of plastic. I wish that were metal where it would make it a bit more durable. Secondly, the stitching is a bit rough. There are a bunch of overruns and crooked stitching. The fabric used is pretty durable and seems like it can take punishment. The little looped patch seems to be just stitched there with no thought to it. The slot opening is pretty rough cut but stitched with a 1/8" border around. As for the hooked backing, it solidly holds onto your helmet down the center but can barely arc itself to the back of the helmet. It's not a 100% grab. If the design were to have a bit of give to it, then it would completely hug the back and not have any gaps or kinks. Overall, it's a decent counterweight for your helmet. It's not the best but it will do if you're fitted with a dummy NVG that has barely any weight at all.

Used these to counterbalance a cosplay helmet and it worked perfectly! The weights are adjustable with each block being able to be easily removed or readded and I was able to play around with it to get just the weight I need. Easy to use and works just how you need a counterbalance to work!

This attaches easily to a bump-style helmet. The mounting hardware is made of plastic, which appears reasonably durable, though I would have preferred metal components for added longevity and reliability. The included counterweight helps offset the weight of night vision devices. While it provides some balance for systems like the PSQ-20, it doesn't completely counteract the weight. It's possible to remove some of the counterweight material and replace it with batteries, but in practice, this may not be ideal due to concerns with noise discipline and the amount of Velcro you'd need to open to access the batteries. Overall, this is a solid setup for the price. It functions as intended and looks just like the product images. A good option for those looking for an affordable counterweight solution.

This counterweight pouch is a great value for such a thing. It attaches quickly and easily to my FAST style bump helmet and does a great job of countering the weight of my PVS7 NVGs. There's not really much to say here. This works, seems well built for my needs, and if you have a lighter set up on the front of your helmet, you can subtract weight as needed.Why pay a lot more for some name brand counterweight when this will accomplish the goal for a much better price?Side note here - the weights used can be replaced with CR123 batteries, the elastic straps will keep the batteries in place as well and you can add functionality to the system. As a fan of rechargeable CR123's for many of my devices, this can be handy.

Alright so I think it’s good to clarify that my helmet setup is very budget and I’m no expert in this field. It’s something I’m looking to get more educated on, but haven’t yet. That being said, I am very happy with this! As you start researching how to set up your ballistic or tactical helmet, the biggest thing you’ll hear about is the importance of weight and balance of all accessories once on your head. Especially if you add NVGs to your kit, you’ll almost certainly need some sort of counterbalance to ensure your neck doesn’t just get toasted after prolonged use. I was excited to add this to my setup and it works perfectly! I haven’t used another product, so i don’t have much to compare between, but I can say quality is great and it’s nice that it has modular inserts to adjust the weight as you see fit. I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to add a counterweight to their helmet at a super budget friendly price to get to larping around in no time!

This fits my helmet as intended. seems to be of good sturdy construction. Got one in black but it comes in other colors. Very reasonably priced when I got it. I can comfortably recommend.
