Should have read the reviews. This isn’t even large enough to be a shower cap.

I was going to use this to make wine in my 6.5 gallon fermenter bucket, however this only fits over the top of the bucket to strain or keep insects out. It is NOT something to put your fruit in and strain later within the bucket.

Great filter and easy to use. I highly recommend this. The filter fits perfectly over the bucket and stays tight regardless of how much liquid is poured into it.

Good product. Very fine mesh and doesn't allow pulp through. The only drawback is that the elastic isn't quite strong enough to hold onto the bucket while I poured the must through it. I could only do a little at a time or lse it old pull off th bucket and all the pulp would fall into the filtered must.

long time Amazon buyer but this is my first review.About a year ago I read the book "Beer Craft" after hearing the author on NPR. The book gives info on brewing beer 1 gallon at a time. I finally decided to do it, this product is made for the books techniques. I will soon move up to 2 gallon batches in my condo I think these bags will still work great. The elastic band at the top of the bag fit nicely on both my two and 3 gallon stock pots for mashing and Sparging my grain.

This is a good bag for a 1 gallon batch maybe, or to use as a bucket filter for transferring from the brew kettle to the fermentation vessel. I tried a 5 gallon stovetop brew and this was totally useless for me.

These bags work great for filtering at the end of sparging prior to the boil and at the end of cooling the wort down, pour into the primary. Get a couple though, they will clog and you won't have time to clean it during the pour.
