Works as advertised. Just need to be sure to cut out some small slots on the sides of where you're shade used to be to accommodate the screw holes. Screw it in tight and let her rip. If your running some auto darkening lenses you may need to file the slot for your shade insert slightly larger as well. Only complaint I have is after about 3 months of use and spools of 035 flux core it has picked up a slight warp from the heat. Other than that I love this for my sugar scoop.

This is well made and functional, similar to the Sellstrom unit but I didn’t observe any double image, like I saw with the more. It is inexpensive, seems strong and very durable while still being light weight. It fits my old pipeline hood very well

I had a sellstrom adapter on another hood that I just swapped. The way the opening is for dark lense/clear lenses, they would only go in one way and would randomly slide back out. Better to spend an extra $10 and buy the sellstrom adapter instead.

It's a great product for the price. It was a Lil hassle to get it to fit my sugarscoop hood but looking at YouTube videos it was very helpful.
