These are the greatest for some protection against jellies and probably some stingray protection too. My son feels much more comfortable fishing in the Gulf, which we do weekly, wearing these booties.

Says unisex. Size 7 looks like a woman's 5. Also very narrow. Definitely buy atleast 2 sizes up. Great for youth. Unfortunately, my son has teenage boy feet now and they were out of 9- 10s... He's a size 7- 8 mens... I went with a different style booty from O'Neil.... Only because the larger size need with this style was out of stock.

These are one of my favorite booties. They are lightweight and the split toe lets you articulate your toes and feel the board a bit better. The sole is thick enough to protect from gravel and some rocks (don't expect reef protection) but does not take away from board feel. The seams are all water tight although water does get into the boot over time through the opening. I haven't come across a bootie that was completely immune to this but 3mm is as thick as I ever need or want to wear so my experience is limited.

Well made, easy to slip on. Quality craftsmanship. True to size and description. Warm enough for 45 degree water.
