This PVC gray glue is the best PVC cement for gluing Schedule 80 PVC fittings. The size is just right for a small project. The price is right.

This product was used to cement fittings to irrigation tubing. The tubing is under significant pressure so requires connectors and other fittings to be firmly connected. This heavy duty cement does the job.

This still sets pretty quickly but you do get about 15 to 30 seconds (depending on temperature). That extra 15 seconds is very important when you are plumbing your pool filter, heater and/or pump. There is a a close equivalent called "Heavy Pool PVC" But to be honest, I don't which is better but they both work well.
