This case offers excellent protection and just enough shelf space for a 13"-15" laptop.I like the extra cable space and it comes with enough various foam pieces to custom fit your mixer.Ideally (when everything's hooked up) these types of cases enable you to slide your computer shelf over your mixer with everything plugged in and on. This just makes your setup more flexible and fluid. However, if your mixer's USB port is on the top and not the back (like mine is on the x1850), you'll be unable to slide the shelf over the mixer as the usb cable sticks out too much from the top of the mixer to allow this. So if you have a small computer it can look pretty far away, and you can't just slide it closer if your mixer's USB cable is sticking out of the top like it is on the Denon X1850.Another thing, even though this case protects your mixer enough to take it to gigs, pro mixers tend to generate heat, and it's not ideal if they're enclosed in something like this all the time.It's a good case for this size mixer/ computer setup, but it'd be better if the shelf was wider w/ smoother glide and enough height clearance to glide over a USB cable plugged in from the top.

The case arrived scratched, but it will cost me more to return it than it is worth.See photographs.I am based overseas. it would cost US$90 or more to return ship it. Amazon offered me $24 to return ship it.Awaiting Amazon response.Overall Good case for the planned use, well designed, just let down by a scratch on the top lid.
