After two different a/c repairmen tried to fix my mom's a/c I decided to repair it myself and yep that's all it needed.

Product was shipped by Discount Supply House LLC. Received the product on Oct 26 and installed the product a couple days later. Product worked for 7 weeks than failed and caused low voltage fuse to blow.Called in HVAC company to diagnosis the issue and they traced back to the contactor being a defective product. Service call and part replacement $320 for a $25 defective part. Amazon states that return/refund period ended Nov 25th. The product support page had me contact the manufactuer (Trane), they pushed me back to Amazon. I tried to acquire a phone number for Discount Supply House LLC but none was available. I even attempted to google the name with no luck. I won't purchase anything again from that supplier again. Horrible support for a defective product.

This contactor or relay switch is the recommended replacement for my Trane model XR 15 A/C system. My original OEM relay switch has the numbers C147094P10, and the FLA/LRA/RES ratings are 30-150-50, while this one is 30-150-40.Although the last number (Resistive load rating) is a little lower, all indications are that this is a suitable replacement for my A/C unit.I purchased this for spare parts, so it hasn’t been installed yet. But it looks well built, and I have no reason to believe it would fail prematurely.Hope this helps.
