Purchased this to replace my unsuccessful attempt at saving a buck. "Economical" aftermarket wiper arm didn't have the hinge-point travel to allow the wiper blade to fully contact the glass. One can never go wrong with Genuine Toyota parts. Worth the investment -- costs less in the long run. Ten minutes to install, works like new again. Perfect fit and function.

This is a true OEM part. Pricey but worth it as it actually cleans the window without skipping spots like the cheap knock offs. I tried two or three of the cheapo brands from different sellers. Should have just invested in the good one first.

I am trying to hang on to my 2003 Toyota 4Runner until the cows come home. I hate car payments. It is a fantastic car but needed some worn out parts replaced. The back windshield wiper was one of them. The hardest part of the install was removing the old bolt that was fused and rusted from being around salt water. Put rust remover on it and let it sit. After that, install was a breeze. It took about 15 minutes. The Toyota dealership water to charge me almost $400 to replace this.

Works great, and I can eliminate the little external spring clip I was using. I had to cut off the old nut and cut into the motor drive shaft a little, but the wiper is still fine. Easy install once the old nut was off.

Carefully remove old wiper arm and clean motor shaft threads and splines. Puller or Dremel cut off tool maybe needed depending on severity of existing corrosion. Patience needed,.. Don't damage motor shaft! 4Runner lift gate wiper worked instantly once installed on properly prepared motor shaft. Wiper Arm Unit shipped complete with wiper blade and trim cover. Excellent value, product and service! Highly recommend.

This kit is an exact OEM replacement for a 2004 4runner. We had the rear lift gate re-painted, and the auto shop broke the old arm when trying to remove due to the rust on the old wiper motor bolt/arm. We bought this to replace, and let me tell you right now...... it is a HUGE pain in the @$s to remove the old rusted wiper arm from the wiper motor bolt. We bought two different gear pullers from the local auto parts store - neither worked. We ended up having to use a hacksaw to cut off the old arm. Do yourself a favor and buy a "wiper arm puller" instead of gear pullers that aren't really meant for the job.

This replacement fit perfectly to repair a broken wiper. The kit includes everything to get the wiper looking like new again. It took a little work to remove the old rusted bolt but I suggest using a little WD-40 to loosen it up.
