Was a journey indeed of having no heat, gas valve went on my furnace. 3 1/2 weeks, of watching many videos etc to figure out why furnace was not working. With living on 144 acres, open field and a river behind me, it was getting pretty cold in trailer. Botley store came through with flying colors, and I have amazing heat now. I recommend Botley store TyUPDATE regarding my purchase. Within 1 month and few days, things surely change drastically. Furnace was having issues yet again. Where I needed to have yet another Master / Ticketed furnace guy come in yet again to fix my furnace. To be told the gas valve that I had just bought was/is a complete dud. To see if I could be refunded by Botley store. Which I then inquired with the seller. I was told NO. Have 30 days with Amazon. Botley store is a 3rd party. Which tells me straight across thew board is Botley does not accept any fault on their own of selling their products. Upon further investigation the picture they have presented is false advertisement of gas valve I have received. The picture that is shown is of a honeywell gas valve. Gas valve I received looks way different then picture provided. For the price I paid, and almost 3 weeks for delivery. To pay furnace man in and round 1 to have it put in. 3 days after apparent window closed on refund. I then had to have yet another furnace man come in with new gas valve and replace yet again, more money out of my pocket. To have my furnace working properly and efficently. I am completely appalled at Botley Store, and do NOT RECOMMEND, unless you want to spend more and more money out for a dud.

Worked for me? Appliances are a mystery - big boxy things that are not complicated, yet are REALLY complicated.... still figuring them out as I learn new homeowner stuff, but this part fixed my problem. My gas furnace would go through stage 1 (air blower), stage 2 (ignitor glowing), but then would fail on stage 3 where it clicked to open up the gas valve but there was no flame (aka no heat, cold house!). After umpteen times of it failing to kick on the flame, the circuit board would complain with a blinky LED and stop trying. Rather than paying the professionals, after various other troubleshooting I ordered one of these and swapped it out. Fairly simple swap if you are mechanically inclined. If I am remembering correctly, with my furnace it took a philips screwdriver, two wrenches, and some tape/thread sealer to do the swap, so not overly complicated. I hate throwing parts at problems like this (when the parts seem to cost alot), but for the $150 or whatever it was, it was cheaper than getting a "pro" onsite to replace the same part. Just make sure you have a spray bottle with water/soap to check for any gas leaks because THAT WOULD BE A BUMMER!!!!
