Got this to replace a lower quality one I bought here. The other one's magnet had too small of a hole to fit spark plugs with thicker ceramic insulators, like on my Bosch Double Iridium plugs. This one fits and feels better made as well.

I was able to use this tool to remove my spark plugs from my BMW 228i. Another tool I bought kept slipping off of the locking extension so I wasn't able to use it to remove the spark plugs from deep inside the cylinder head. So, I just threw it away. THIS tool does NOT come off the extension cause it was built right!! Great product. Great price. Great company!!!!

Product came quickly. The product is also pretty good construction. I took a look inside at the teeth which grip the spark plugs and they do seem to be a bit cheap, but hey, this is already better than what I couldve asked for at this price.

As most of you are aware, 'newer' model European cars require this tool (or similar, thin walled sockets) to remove spark plugs.The socket & extension combo worked perfectly and it was a Great price, as many sellers have the socket alone (without the extension) for the same price or more.I saw some reviews where people complained the tabs inside the socket would break, but i can only see this happening if you're excessively rough with the tool (which you really shouldn't be when handling the spark plugs).I would definitely recommend

Works perfectly! Great length (no need for an extension), great hold on loose plug, and no worries of having to fish your socket in the slot because it separated from the extension. You still have to remove the engine partition bulk heads , support bars, and airboxes to gain access to the plug but after all is removed this tool worked flawlessly. I was able to replace all 8 oem spark plugs with Bosch ZR5TPP33 Double Platinum plugs in 2 hours (my first time). When I did research, I found the CTA tools 1061. 14mmx12point swivel socket to be recommended but this works well and at the time more cost effective (cta tool was $30 for a swivel socket). The quality is appropriate for removal and installing spark plugs (17ft/lbs of torque per spec on spark plug box) ...it’s a little thin so wouldn’t use to loosen or tighten past 30ft/lbs of torque. This is a great addition to my tool set.
