This Oetiker 151 series stainless steel double-ear hose clamp is suitable for applications where more secure clamping is needed than what a one-ear clamp would provide. The two ears of this clamp have nearly double the clamping force of one-ear clamps and apply the force more uniformly for reduced thermal and vibrational expansion. It's also stainless steel for resisting scaling and corrosion. This clamp is suitable for attaching hoses to fittings or other devices for applications such as food processing and commercial fishing that involve exposure to corrosive elements, particularly salt water.
