❌ For reference I’m 5’3 and 120 pounds. I ordered size small. I have tiny thighs so I was shocked when the upper portion of the brace was so tight it acted as a tourniquet and cut off all circulation.❌ The part of the brace that goes over the knee (what is supposed to be snug and protected and tight for shock absorption) is so loose it doesn’t help at all.✔️ In theory this is a high quality brace that could have been helpful and I did like the squishy form fitting protector over the knee cap. But the size is just all wrong in all the places, and it’s too pricey.

These MUZUP Brand absorbing knee pads are very comfortable and easy to wear for any sport or job that you might be doing that requires knee pads. I got them specifically to wear when working on my knees and they are very lightweight with neoprene flexibility. Though these are shock absorbing knee pads, they are great for those of us older folks that need that extra support around our knees. I enjoy wearing them when gardening, working on the car, or just any job that needs me to be up and down on my knees. They don't advertise them for this type of use, but they definitely work well for my needs. I recommend them to anyone.

The most important thing I can say about this product is that it works. I've tested the knee pads for 3 weeks now and just yesterday they saved my knee from a hard impact. The skin is showing scraping but nothing major, the big hit was absorbed by the padding and the outer layer. My lesion was abrasive only.To my surprise the knee pad is bit frayed but not destroyed. The product is snug and little on the small side, I ordered medium and is bit challenging to slide it into position, once is set, the pad does not move not get in the way when pedaling. I use these for mountain biking. You should consider ordering one size up.Securing it with velcro on top and bottom is not a problem.I honestly recommend them and I will be ordering a second pair.

First of all: Pay attention to the size chart!! These run way smaller than you'd think from the size names, to the extent that anyone who mountain bikes with any regularity will probably have quads too large for even the largest size. These really need an XL and XXL size to fit what I'd consider a typical mountain biker.Second, the quality seems decent, though for the current $76.99 price, I have some complaints:- The top band should be wider with a much broader silicone strip. The band on these is about 1/2" wide, and the single silicone bead is less than 1/4". It does start to feel constricting on a ride. It would be much better if it were 1"+ wide elastic band, with a few beads of silicone grip along it. The velcro elastic band does not tighten against the silicone grip strip.- The price seems quite high for a no-name brand knee guard, when name-brand Fox, Leatt, etc. knee pads are available for the same price or less. There are also some positives to note too:- They seem "sufficiently" breathable. Can definitely feel that they're there, but I'm not dying.- The "M-KN1" armor seems to be equivalent to Knox, which is a slightly-more-protective alternative to D3O armor. They're both non-newtonian materials that are flexible under low movement, but harder on impact. Just playing with it by hand, it's surprisingly effective...you can bend it in any direction, but then smacking it feels like hitting a wall.

I regularly ride a large cruiser motorcycle, and I like to have some knee protection in case the bike goes down, but I don’t like to use motocross pads because they are too bulky, and I like to have something that can discreetly fit under my jeans.I picked these up as a replacement for some old knee pads that were wearing out, which had been designed for rollerblading. I measured the circumference of my thigh 8-inches above the kneecap, which came to 16.5-inches, so I ordered the Medium. Fortunately, the fit is just right; snug without being too tight. adjustable Velcro straps allow me to get a precise fit and it is great that these easily fit under my pants and even clear the cuffs of my riding boots. Do be aware that these must be slipped on over your feet, so if you wear them under pants, the pants and your boots need to be removed to put them on and take them off.The length of the pads are 13-inches each from above the knee to the bottom of the shin. The padded portion is 9-inches tall and 7-inches wide at the widest point. The padding is *NOT* removeable. During a two-hour ride the pads remained comfortable and provided me with adequate protection, and I can repeatedly stretch out my legs and walk around at rest stops without the pads migrating down or around my legs because of both the two Velcro straps and the tactile no-slip rubbery gripping surface on the underside of the top hem.The foam is not very squishy feeling, but it does feel quite protective and is just enough for a mild crash of fall over, but not good for anything high-speed. Do be aware that they have a specific Left and Right side. I appreciate that it is made with industrial type Velcro so that the straps won’t wear out prematurely and the included storage sack is not cheap feeling. As long as you get the correct size, these are great knee pads that will protect your knees from mild impacts and are great for times when you’ll be both riding and walking around as they are not too bulky.
