These are excellent for regular filing needs but I also use to house various notes, hardcopy contact info or project items (paint samples, fabrics, small plumbing items). When I shop for household items or projects these folders come in handy. Or having my notes/paperwork handy for all sorts of appointments (medical, auto, insurance, etc).

These are perfect for separating small stacks of related papers. I prefer the clear, but they also come in colors. I've been using these for 20 years, and used them in my residential organizing business to hold each of my client's paperwork, as well as for many other things. I also recommended them to my clients to keep related papers together for their to-do tasks and for other uses. I tape an index card to the front to label them, taping the entire length of all four sides of the index card to keep it from catching on anything. They are very sturdy, and the papers are so easy to get in and out with the top and the right side open.

These clear project folders are a life saver, especially when paper clips have a tendency to grab random papers. I keep projects organized, papers clean, and easy to identify. In my top 10 must have office supplies

Office Depot makes great quality products. But why get in the car, drive, park, jostle with other customers and take the chance they may be out of what you want. Buy it on Amazon.

Love them but they changed the material to a more slippery version. Not happy about that. Else they are awesome and helped me to keep my paper monster under control. A pro organizer recommended them since I need documents to be visible not to forget them. On the first page of my documents, I tack a brightly colored post-it with a name for the content, each folder corresponding to an action item (letter to reply, bill to pay, etc). Huge help!
