Unfortunately my dog is a chewer and destroyed it, but was a great training toy!

My german shepard tugged on it for less than a minute and both straps broke, he chewed on it and it was destroyed shortly after, stuffing hanging out of his mouth. I guess these arent for dogs larger than pomeranians?

This is a nice medium tug toy. If you have a dog trained in bite work or is an aggressive chewer, this might not last too long. I have two Mals and they love playing fetch, tug, or keep away with the other. This is one of their preferred toys and I am watchful so they don't destroy it too fast. With the handles being long, they have torn one edge, so I assume it will only be a matter of time until we see the snow inside of this pretty tug toy and have to announce the office death. Sniffle. Then, they will enjoy the carcus of the toy for many months after. That's when you know, how well made the tug toy really is and the happiness of the dogs prancing around with their foot/leg caught in the loop handle while the rest is in their mouth. Great toy!

This has no squeaker, has No END Seams, has half the Stuffing, has no bite marks, has no OVERSIGHT OBVIOUSLY!!! THIS COMPANY HAS A PROBLEM!!!! I could understand if it wasn't blatantly OBVIOUSLY that the end seams were missing and the handles aren't sewing in. Even Amazon should have caught this in packaging... sheesh!!

Our Zoey ripped in less than 3 minutes. Not durable for aggressive chewers . Good quality well made but only for puppies or small dogs I would say ..so I rated fair .

The Aussie Shepherd has taken weeks to damage this toy. We have had it about a month. She loves it. It is well made with two handles that she likes to tug on, & she hasn't made a dent in the material on the body either. She finally ripped one of the handles off but I can sew up the hole-not sure where the handle went. The other handle has a slight fraying spot which I can burn to seal with a lighter. For this particular dog that destroys toys in one day or less, I am really happy this toy lasted as long as it did. She is a toy monster!!!It is very important for puppies to find safe, durable toys for them to play with that don't get destroyed in less than an hour & that don't pose a risk to them. This toy fits the bill.Its an attractive toy with a lightly stuffed green camouflage pattern with black seam tape which strengthens the body so it is more difficult to rip apart the seams. The body is a woven nylon type material that does not show any wear at all. The two handles are a nylon webbing type material.Both the dog & I like the toy so I ordered two more. I generally have Malinois, Dutch or German Shepherd working dogs which I train. This Aussie is training to be a service dog. She is smaller but likes biting things. The toy has been in constant use as we train multiple times a day. It has enough heft to throw it a short distance, it is a good size & flexible so a very good training aid for a puppy. For those with bite dogs, this has soft stuffing with a nylon cordura type body so is softer than jute toys that look similar which is great for a puppy. It is very durable for supervised playtime after training & as a training aid.Note, I never expect toys to last very long with working dogs especially in the puppy stages -lasting a month is good & its reparable.Unrelated by this toy comes from a small business & supports Military Working Dogs Charity. I like buying from a small business & a businesses that incorporates donating to charity in its business plan.
