Have had instances where clamp gave out the conduit pulled away from the wall. Only thing holding it up was where it was connected and tension on the wire. External conduit is 1.5 inch. Clamps to the wall are rusting and I do not want to call an electrician to do the repair. One would imagine they would use stainless steel or zinc plated clamps so they hold up. Clamp on upper part of conduit works with 1.5 inch. Lower part of the conduit is curved away from the wall to connect to box. Had to use 2 inch clamp.

Ordered 1/2 inch. Received "1/2" inch. Box even says 1/2 inch. But they are 1 inch straps.

Was attaching pole to 4by4 wood post but screw holes were too far apart.Know it is designed for electrical conduit but unless conduit has 3 in diameter and mounting to masonry wall bring a drill and bit.
