These are called glass jars but you can see they are cylindrical vials with flat bottoms. They have a 2 fl. oz. capacity, which is a wonderful small size for storing anything - solid or liquid - in that volume range. (The fact that they are identified as coffee bean dose storage is comical - that is just a suggestion.)These hold up at room temperature, in the refrigerator, and in the freezer. The caps are a beautiful gold color with a flexible polymer seal. I ran the glass vials through the dishwasher, but held the caps out for handwashing. This is a set of four, and I imagine I will find the need for more soon.
