These are not great. Using on a laminate floor, they really don’t make much difference. Sewing foot pedal still moves around about like it did without it. Waste of money for me.

I spend a lot of time at sewing machines and one thing, among a couple of things, that I find a bit frustrating is searching around for the foot pedal while deep into the sewing process. This pedal mat solves that issue on the hardwood floor in my studio. The mat is large enough to accommodate the large Bernina foot pedal that I frequently use. Two mats are included which is convenient when I set up a second machine to use in the same sewing session. This mat nicely solves this issue at a reasonable price.

I had to test out this product as soon as it arrived. I am at my sewing machine pretty much all day since that is what I do for a living. I've tried many things to keep my foot pedal from slipping across the floor. Some things work fine, but don't last over time, others are either too thick or don't stop the sliding. This one is thin enough for me to sew barefoot, which is way I like to sew. It really does not slide across my laminate flooring and it is comfortable to use. So this is a winner. I'm very glad that there are 2 of these since I do my quilt block piecing on another machine in my quilting room. I will be purchasing another set of these as I have several sewing machines set up in my quilting room that I use for different types of projects, i.e., a high speed machine for sewing long strips or binding, and an old 1940's Singer Featherweight machine that I love using for paper piecing. So, take it from a long-time quilter, these pedal mats really do work well, at least on laminate floors.
