So, just WHAT are these pads? They are used whenever oily liquids are going to be splashing around you. Put them INSIDE the container you’re using to collect your used motor oil or differential fluid draining from your vehicle, and they provide a softer surface to prevent SPATTER from getting everything messy. Additionally, they can be put on the floor and you can be sure they won’t “soak through” with your oily mess. Basically, do the job WITHOUT these, and you’ll WISH you had just ordered these splash pads, first. Cleaner than kitty litter and work as well as the name brand items. Saved some money. I use them for vehicle work in my garage so I like the smaller size. Handy to put down under leaks and pans when working with fluids. Used a couple to drain my Jeep differential fluid. Caught all the bit that spilled and great to put the drain plug on. Would prefer larger packs and the bag they came in ripped right away so won't work for storage.
