Slipped off the oil filter housing repeatedly, do not recommend. The fit is sloppy at best.

I have an OEM filter wrench that I bought from my Lexus dealer years ago for my first Lexus. Over the years the wrench started to wear and now slips and spins in the filter housing pretty often. This filter wrench works perfectly for my Tundra (going to try the GX next). The slits in the side grip an extra part of the filter housing that my OEM wrench doesn’t so it works so much better! Works well at an unbeatable price!

This worked perfectly on my 2014 Toyota Sienna. It fit on the oil filter housing cap, and was very easy to use. It did not feel cheap either. My previous oil filter wrench got all bent and distorted where the ratchet wrench connects. It was so brittle. This one had no such problems. It held up well to reasonable force, and this is all I could ask for. The design and size is comparable to other oil filter wrenches I have used, but I do wish they would design one that was slightly deeper, thus holding the oil filter housing cap more snugly. This one would slip off at times, though not more than others of the same size. That is why I would say a larger one that cups the filter cap better would be ideal. But nevertheless, this one worked well, and I am happy to put it to use for future oil changes.

Great quality metal was used in making this. I worked great at removing the oil filter from a Toyota and it was very helpful that it has the added teeth to help grip on filter during removal. I have used other oil filter wenches without the teeth and it makes it much harder to remove the filter. I am quite pleased with this wrench and feel it is well worth the money.

The CHERALKEST Oil Filter Wrench is a total game-changer if you work on your own car. I used it on my Toyota, and it fit perfectly—64mm with 14 flutes, just like it says. It works great on engines from 2.5L to 5.7L, which covers a bunch of models like the Camry, Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner.What I like most is how strong and solid it feels. It’s made from heavy-duty metal and doesn’t slip or strip the filter, even if it’s on super tight. The black finish looks sleek, and it feels like it’s built to last a long time.If you’ve ever struggled with stuck oil filters or messed around with tools that don’t fit right, this wrench saves you all that hassle. It locks on tight and removes the filter smoothly, making oil changes faster and a lot less frustrating.Definitely a smart tool to keep in your garage if you drive a Toyota or Lexus and like to do your own maintenance.

This fits ands works well on the aluminum caps for the cartridge style filters on Toyotas. We have a couple toyotas with 3.5L v6 (tacoma, highlander), and this fits them well.I was hoping to use the inner portion for Wix 51358 oil filters which are 64mm 14 flute. Its too lose on them. The filter measureas 1/2 mm underside and this tool measures 1/2 mm oversize, so when you put them together it just slips.I'm only taking 1 star off for that because I suspect most people are buying it for toyota aluminum caps, and it does fit them well.

For a Lexus this is a oil filter housing tool if that's not clear. Remove the housing and change the filter that's inside of the housing after cleaning all the gunk. But try and change the filter without this tool and you're adjusting larger water pump pliers to engage the ears of the filter housing and using another pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench on that to loosen the housing. A situation fraught with error!I have a couple of universal filter tools one camming type that tightens as you wrench it but it doesn't quite open enough for this housing. Another is a band type of the same camping action but there's no room up there without dropping the plastic ground effects.Do yourself a favor and get something that works. A short 3-6" extension, ratchet and this tool and you're done post haste.

I go back and forth on Toyotas. I know they are reliable, but so are all the Hondas I've used over the years, and the Hondas have a certain consistency to them. The same oil filter I used on my 97 Accord fits on my 15 CR-V and three other Hondas I've had, and you don't need a took to remove it.Toyotas just have the internal aspects of the oil filter to change. To change the oil, you need a tool to remove the plastic cover, which can break. This took fits an open end wrench, a ratcheting wrench (a socket wrench without the socket) or a breaker bar. The reason I like this better than others is if you took your Toyota to a crappy oil change shop, and they use an impact gun, you may need to use a breaker bar and a very strong adaptor to remove the filter in the future. This fits perfectly, is very solid, and works well with my wrench. It's strong, but it's aluminum, so if you go the wrong way or do something drastic, it will probably break the cap on your filter housing, but it probably cannot break the steel underlying your oil pan, so you're not likely to have a horrific repair bill. It's also cheap. For the price, and the accurate, perfect fit, and the good easy use, this is a great value.Very pleased with this fairly basic and normal design.
