When engine is running, oil leaks from the sensor on top of this newly installed tank. I will try to get it replaced.

First negative review I've written.Bought this reservoir for my Optimax 200. The fitting on the top of the tank (output side) cracked after about a year and started spewing oil while I was warming up the motor.I sent the seller an email documenting the issue and went ahead and ordered a replacement right away, rhinking we'd work it out and i could get back on the water. HE HAS NOT RESPONDED AT ALL. I will update this post if I get a response.4 days later...still no reply.

Started leaking through sealed cap after two trips in the boat. Was also very difficult to get holes lined up.

Had to go buy a tap set to clean threads. Cost me just as much as the tank. Bleeder cap would not start. Of course found this out after it was in and filled with oil. Check threads before u install

Bought this product last fall to install over the winter. After replacing it and running the boat I noticed an oil leak. After taking it to a mercury tech they found it was a faulty check valve. Can't believe the valve was bad out of the package.
