I like this webcam for various things. I used it a few times and it was helpful. The image is clear. The only thing I don’t like is the arm. It doesn’t let you maneuver much.Thank you.

This unit works well enough so far, it was easy to set up. The video recording software was a little hidden Miss at first. Excellent value, small size and does not take up a lot of room. Great for video documentation.

I got this camera right here to hook up to my PC so I could do some easy overhead videos and photography. For the most part the quality is decent enough for my needs. I know there is an upgraded version if I ever so desire for 4K. Which I probably will in the longest run. But right now this one definitely keeps me covered. The computer easily recognizes the USB camera as just any other camera so I can use it with any program I want. There is a specialty program that you can download that is exactly for this camera from the company. But the only issue I ran into with it is that the files save in a weird format that my Sony Vegas editing software doesn't recognize. If you were just using it as a overhead display like back in the day at school. It would be perfect for that. But if you want to record video edit it then you might have to convert it if you're editing software doesn't recognize that file type.Picture quality is decent enough for 1080p, which is generally fine enough for most video stuff I do. It just makes for a nice overhead display for explainer videos and showing off products easily and using my hands. The camera is nice and adjustable and also comes with an extra arm to make it even higher in the air. There's also works good if you need like an eBay camera too. Just hook up some extra lights and you can get some really nice overhead photography with it straight onto the computer. The autofocus seems to work decent as well too and I haven't had an issue of the camera going in and out of focus here and there as I move throughout the frame.Overall perfect for the price of all you need is 1080p video at 30fps. But I can see where 4K and 60 frames per second would come in handy with the upgraded model too in the long run. Still with this model there's a lot that can be accomplished in it.

The image looks very good and the auto adjustment had no issues. I had no issues connecting it to my machines and having the OS detect them. The arm adjustments were a little more of an issue as it didn't quite go the way you want it to for positioning of the camera. The accompanying software was poor and showed lack of refinement. I couldn't get it to work properly with MS Teams so I'm not sure if its a driver issue or hardware despite Windows seeing it. It needs more refinement to make it work with everything.

The Okiocam is an impressive, versatile device perfect for presentations, teaching, digitizing documents, or creating content. Its intuitive design is ideal for bloggers, vloggers, or anyone needing "top-down" shots, solving common issues like side-lighting shadows. The adjustable arm with multiple joints and an extension attachment allows precise positioning, and the compact, foldable design makes it highly portable. The weighted base offers some stability, but thicker materials or metals would provide better durability. While the arms work well, they feel flimsy and require gentle handling. The lack of tension adjustment on the camera joint and limited articulation is a drawback, costing it a star. The setup is straightforward, and the autofocus works quickly, delivering sharp, clear images. It's compatible with Windows and Mac, though it requires proprietary software, which is functional and user-friendly but lacks Android support. The camera shines in document photography, digitizing books, and creating time-lapse or stop-motion videos. Its robust build and additional driver options enhance flexibility across various computing environments. However, some drawbacks include limited lighting capabilities, occasional arm positioning challenges, and dependence on the software for device recognition. The highest resolutions can drop frames, but 1080p remains smooth and reliable.I managed to get some quality photos of electronic boards on a test bench for instruction on equipment required to service machines. Adjusting the room lighting and an articulated lamp produced good pictures worthy of noting. This lightweight, feature-packed camera is a valuable tool for educators, creators, and professionals. While it could benefit from improved materials, software refinement, and better lighting solutions, its compact design, ease of use, and functionality make it a great choice for capturing crisp overhead shots and live demonstrations.

I love it! I have played around with it for awhile and I am impressed. Yes, it is intuitive if you want to demonstrate online some project your are working on or artwork. The way it is set up allow the viewer to focus on what your are doing with her hands. I have not tried all the settings yet as you can literally do stop motion clips or time lapse videos. This is one of those items that you cannot do without if you are a blogger or vlogger and need to demonstrate something. I had even recommended this to my brother who builds very detailed models. He could easily have his own channel demonstrating some of his details renderings and concepts.

I've been using this camera to photograph old newspapers, magazines, and photos that won't fit on my small bed scanner. The image quality is great. It's easy to setup and folds back into a small neat little space making it easy to take with you or to store. It was recognized by my Ubuntu installation and Windows 10 right away. Just plug it in and get to work! The arm stays in place once positioned and hasn't moved on me. Very happy with this for documenting family history and other content that would otherwise be lost forever on the originals are gone.
