I was really impressed with this craft kit. All the pieces were well cut and super cute. You get a ton of animals and other things to sew and each project was in its own individual package. This was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it. Perfect for the crafty child. I also like that it is pre-punched holes and uses plastic threading needles. That way I don’t have to worry about sharp needles because we do have littles in the house. The only negative thing was the scissors were awful but that did not matter to me. We have scissors and the rest of the items in the box were great! Highly recommend!

I got this thinking that it would be perfect for adding to my felt ornament Christmas tree. Then I changed my tree theme, and put this box to the side. So, months later, I open the box, and am delighted with what I found.Most felt kits, you need to clear a space, get lots of cups to hold your application tools, as well as glue, toothpicks, scissors, and a tray to confine essentials. A dome of silence would be helpful too, and a seam ripper to correct my mistakes, since I'm never happy the first five times. And focus on getting it done, because it's the kind of project you have to finish.This kit, being for children (don't think that was lost on me) required none of the prep work, and just some adult scissors (since the child scissors were a little ineffectual), regular needles (same story), and some glue for the eyes if I had decided to use them (I'm satin stitching eyes instead prior to sewing the animals shut). There are holes where the seams go - couldn't possibly be happier about this. There's standard embroidery thread included.I would have liked some more cotton batting for the stuffing, to make the animals just a little fatter (what was provided could fill three, and you have 10 animals, a barn and two trees to fill) - but the box is totally jam packed as it is. I sure wish I had opened the kit much sooner - easy peasy and great for all ages.

I love this product, it’s perfect for my two grand daughters as a craft project.The two plastic needles are hiding in the sleeve of one of the embroidery threads and took a second look to find.

Purchased for our 7 year old. Kids can do the weaving portion, but they will need help to tie the knots and fill with fluff. Overall, a great craft.

I would highly recommend the sewing kit, my granddaughter absolutely loves it. The quality of the fabric is great, the holes line up perfectly to help with getting the needle and the thread through and the end results are lovely.

My kids love to make anything and everything, so every craft kit is an opportunity to keep their hands occupied for hours. As soon as this arrived, my kids sorted each design that they wanted and got right to work. All the materials are included with basic directions for assembly. My two oldest were able to work independently after minimal assistance getting set up. Even my 4 year old was able to work through her choices with help. The characters are really cute and the pieces are cut perfectly so there was no issues with alignment. This is perfect for taking in the car on long rides, sitting in church quietly while keeping hands busy, or just to fill in down time. Plenty of shape/animal options to keep everyone going for as long as they are interested.
