This is a gorgeous, elegant, versatile pillar candle stand.You can place a suitable flat platter on top, silver, gold, dark glass or ceramic and display a vase of flowers.This is a quality, solidly well-made floor stand primarily designed to hold pillar candles as wide as five inches diameter or even a larger diameter pillar candle, though you’d need to place a suitable platter on top, an 8” diameter which I have done when I tried out a 6 x 15 inch battery operated LED candle, a flickering flame that looks real two feet away.This piece is in two parts, the stand itself and a 5” x 10” glass hurricane pillar candle chimney.I highly recommend a purchase.

I wanted a small table in 1/2 guest bath. This I was perfect to hold my candle! You can use with or without hurricane glass, it’s beautiful
