Quality of the vest meet every expectation for my son as well as it being comfortably fitted for his size. The material isn't thin nor thick but it's durable and looks really good as shown in the description. I ended up purchasing two of them in a size Xtra Small for my son who weighs #155 pounds and stands at 6'4 feet.😁 It does run big but I was able to adjust the back so it didn't seem obvious.Overall, I would recommend as well as purchase more colors and styles.

This is an inexpensive vest and tie good for a wedding, prom, or other event. The material is attractive to look at, but very thin. That's good if it's hot out, but also means it will have a limited lifespan. If you're buying for a singular event, you're good to go.The vest and matching tie are a very nice, deep blue. In some light the set looks more purple or blurple.I put this vest on and off three times. Every time I had buttons catch on thread on the back of the buttons. It didn't matter if I unbuttoned up or down, at least one button would always catch. Make sure you have a pair of scissors handy to cut any loose threads off, so you don't tear the garment if you've had a few and forget by that time of night.I didn't button the last button of the vest, as that is the style of vests so you can sit down comfortably. It's totally button-able, if you want to button it while standing.This vest is cut higher than what I typically prefer, but that helps to show it off if you're wearing a jacket with it.

I ordered this Oliver George Men's Paisley Formal Waistcoat Tuxedo Dress Vest Bow Tie Set for Suit or Tuxedo for my teenage son.My son wanted a waistcoat to wear with his tuxedo. This has a great old school vibe. We ordered it in the green/black color combination. It is a vibrant, almost emerald green brocade. The fabric is lightweight and slightly shiny.My son loves menswear, he’s very into midcentury menswear, but also loves Victorian/Edwardian styling. This brocade pattern, bursting with green curlicues against a black background, is evocative of a vintage dandy. It’s a lot of style, but my son rocks it. He’s got black Irish coloring, super pale skin and dark curly hair, and this brings out the green in his hazel eyes. The color is very flattering to him.This also comes with a matching bow tie. My son split them up instantly, he said they were too matchy together, and I agree. They would be fine for something like prom court or groomsmen where matching is the whole idea, but he’s been wearing them separately. The tie is pre tied and easy to put on.The waistcoat is well made, with nice touches like self-covered buttons in the same fabric. The metal clasp at the back is a touch on the flimsy side, but works fine.My son loves this, he’s eyeing some of their less-intense colors (like the navy or the cream) to wear with a coat and tie to school this fall. At the current price point ($19.99) these waistcoats are inexpensive enough to splurge on a couple colors.Fun for dressing up a suit or formal wear, lightweight and inexpensive, this is a lot of look without a big price tag. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
