They're very nice easy to grab that sockets and put them back not very strong magnets but it still does the jobs it holds good amount still good price help you organize your sockets

All impressions and opinions stem from my experience working as a handyman. I purchased one of these for my 1/4 drive sockets (regular & deep) about 6 months ago. I carry them around (along with wrenches, ratchets, etc.) in a Husky roll-around tool bag.The Good: The magnets in these socket holders are very strong. I can keep the regular & deep sockets aligned with each other on the holder, making it easy to find what I need. Sockets come out easily when I pull them out, but I've never had a socket come loose and fall out in the tool bag.The Bad: I only wish these came in more colors.The Ugly: Nothing!

Purchase price is a bit high but it is really nice to lay down your sockets and be able to organize them. The magnets are strong and will definitely hold your sockets in place.

Strong magnet will hold you sockets in place. I am able to pick these up and toss them in the back of the truck or tool box with out loosing any sockets.

Great organizer for 1/2 inch sockets holds sockets securely. Only drawback is Item description is wrong says can mount this organizer for sockets on almost any steel surface. Sorry to say; it will not stick to any surface at all can only be used to hang on hooks for wall storage or lay flat in a toolbox or work bench; or use it to carry to the project your working on to fix.

I recently had to move in to a built-in style tool box instead of my personal box where I work. My 1/2 inch sockets were too tall to stand up in the top drawer with my regular socket tray. This tray is perfect for what I needed. I will never use the handle or live these around, but I did test it and it works perfectly. Definitely worth the money if you need low profile socket storage.

I've only had these (bought one red, one blue) for 5 days and today when I shut the bin door (they were mounted vertically on the inside) I heard a crash. Opened the bin and found one sitting on thw bottom. The magnetic mounting strip was still but the socket holder had fallen. The glue holding the strip had already let go. I checked the other one and it was already easily peeling off. They are both being glued right now with some epoxy and I don't expect any more trouble. I really like these and they seem really well built (except for this one major problem) but had to give 3 stars for a complete failure only 5 days in.

This is my third socket organizer for the tool box in my truck. Most either don't hold the sockets or are too big and bukly. I bought two of these and love them. The magnets firmly hold the sockets in a compact and portable carrier.

This socket holder is high quality. It is a bit heavy without sockets in it, which I personally like. The magnets hold the sockets in strong, especially if you have a set of thicker walled sockets in them.I had two sets of impact sockets that needed an organized home, since I use those a lot for working on the Jeep. One set of metric sockets, then a set of complimentary deep sockets.I wanted mobility and the carrying handle provides that. I wanted quick access to get a socket, and an easy way to put it back when I was done while remaining organized without slowing me down. The open faced magnetic holder slots provided that, along with nice visibility of graduated sizes. Also for visibility, I chose to get the red one since my impact sockets were black. This provides a nice contrast of color between black and red, allowing me to have great visibility in varied lighting conditions as I work.There are 11 spaces in each side, so you will need to pick which sizes you use the most. In my specific case, I had a set of Harbor Freight impact sockets. The short welled socket set had 13 sockets, and the deep welled socket set had 11 sockets. I matched sizes on each side for quick scan efficiency in my workflow. I ended up leaving out the 11mm and 27mm short socket so all the sizes matched in the socket holder. Who needs an 11mm socket? I was tempted to just fill it with 13mm sockets since I use those the most.I am happy with this purchase, and I feel it was worth the price. Now I may buy another to organize my SAE sockets for completeness!

Very handy way to carry your sockets to where you work and a way to keep track of them. Good magnets. Would be nice if tray also had a spot for 1/4 drive ratchet.

Love this set. Holds my impact sockets securely in my tool cart and provides quick access to them. I also like how it's easy to tell if I've left a socket somewhere so I dont lose tools. This is my best purchase do far
