I thought I was going to get a usable recorder. It ruined one of my tapes and the dictation on there with never be restored. The recorder doesn't work and I wasted my time. I honestly feel cheated. If it would have said "for parts" I wouldn't have bought it. If you buy used, you pay for it.

Got this used, and it works perfectly. Only drawback: it does not eject the tape, you open the door manually. Much better recording quality than my old Panasonic.
