Needed something quick when my sensor on my Jeep Wrangler went out and this was the answer. Only about 40% of the cost to local auto stores and the same brand so Amazon got it delivered in 24 hours and my vehicle was back up and working like a champ.

My only complaint is that there was no sealant on the threads. Had to go buy some high temp thread sealant before installing.

With some more research this larger new one in picture fits at the the oil filter housing not in the head close to firewall like mine. The package says water/oil. This is a oil temperature sensor on my 2016 jeep wrangler sport. May be used for water sensor on other models. I sent it back and will buy the correct one local.

This part was not the correct size. The thread size was too large and the sensor depth was too long. I wasted an hour disassembling my Jeep only to get sprayed with coolant while trying to get this part to fit. Very frustrated.
